BEAUTY THERAPY & NAIL COURSES    Full Time   Certificate IV & Diploma of Beauty Therapy 10 months (4-5 days per week) Mon Tue Wed 9.30am – 3.30pm Thur 9.00am – 3.00pm or 3.00pm – 8.00pm Plus home study  Part Time Certificate   Certificate IV & Diploma of Beauty Therapy 14 months (3-4 days per week) Mon Tue 6.00pm – 10.00pm Wednesday 6.00pm-9.00pm (Diploma only – Term 2 & 3) Saturday 9.00am – 3.00pm Plus home study  Part Time   Certificate II in Nail Technology 3 months (2 evenings per week) Mon Tue 6.00pm – 10.00pm  Diploma of Beauty Therapy   The Diploma if Beauty Therapy is the highest level qualification available from the National Beauty Training Package. Students gain the necessary skills and techniques to perform facial and body treatments along with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical components of this qualification. To achieve a Diploma of Beauty Therapy 25 core units, and 8 specialist electives must be completed. The specialist electives including permanent epilation & plan the spa expand on the core units and will equip you with a complete qualification. The beauty specialist at this level would provide services, including lash and brow treatments, facial treatments and manicure / pedicure. A total of 25 units of competency must be completed. It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the nail technology stream of the Beauty industry. Likely functions within the Beauty industry for those who achieve this level of qualification include interacting with customers, providing manicure and pedicare services, applying acrylic or gel nail enhancement and applying nail art.
