Work Experience – Student Salon
Work experience is not paid, but is a valuable part of your training providing you with real work experience in a salon environment that is difficult to get otherwise. This helps overcome a common problem a newly qualified beauty therapist and nail technicians may face, when asked by an employer for “experience”.
It also allows students to apply the full range of competencies against learning outcomes in not only beauty therapy and nail technology but also in all aspects of salon management in a supportive environment.
Students’ progress is recorded on a regular basis and feedback is given to students on any areas improvement or help is required.
